My story
Hi, I’m River
I’m River Pearl Hemming, the owner of River Pearl En Pointe, a company designed to share the beauty and grace of ballet to all ages. I have been passionate about this art form since I was 8 years old and my love only grows stronger each day.
I started my professional ballet career in 2021 with Uptown Dance Company as both a performer and teacher and have had the honor to dance incredible lead roles by some of the best choreographers in and around the Houston area. When I’m not dancing myself, I’m leading and guiding other dancers of all ages through the grace, strength and determination it takes to pursue this art form. I have taught, choreographed and coached dancers throughout The Woodlands and Houston, TX, and watching the joy it brings, especially to young hearts, continues to inspire me every day.
My company’s purpose is to bring the elegance, imagination, grace and love of ballet to your next event and leave you with something unforgettable. I look forward to working with you to bring the vision to life.
